[SML] 1/2" WHITE handline, handline for main curtain

Hi-

I'm replacing our main curtain and I want ½" WHITE handline.
It seems to be hard to find and my regular dealers can only come up with 1000' spools. I need about 150'.

Can I use 'sash' cord? Is that the same thing?
McMaster Carr has sash cord; would that work?
