I would agree that it’s most likely a custom build. Especially if it’s that old.

Subject: [SML] ID maker of acoustical shell
Morning all,
I have an older acoustical shell that has no manufacture name plate visible and I’m wondering is someone can identify a possible maker for me based on this description. It is about 20’ high, wood framed and the side panels are in pairs that are hinged together with one panel attached to a piece of 1.5” pipe that runs from floor to ceiling. After talking to a couple of people I'm leaning towards a custom build, possibly by the original contractor of the building back in the 50's.
Thanks
Ken Z
