[SML] Sign Faster Running Audience

Hey folks,

I recently shared the documentary Sing Faster: The Stagehand's Ring Cycle
with my students. This was filmed in 1990 at the San Fransisco Opera. Here
is question that was raised by several of my students that one of you
lurking out there may be able to answer: Why does the audience run into the
theater? https://youtu.be/ReuqtxcXJBo?t=440 The best that I can come up
with is that perhaps it is general seating? Anyone out there know anything
about this?
