[SML] [EXTERNAL] Tips for Painting a concrete stage floor

Why one earth are they leaving it as a concrete floor? That is horribly hard on joints and performers even if not doing dance.
Is there any way at all you might be able to get some more money to lay in a wooden floor for the are the performances will actually be; or the whole place if it is going to stay a fluid environment for "where" the stage will be?

Since the company received relief funds, I am on staff this summer and the producer has tasked me with several incremental improvements to the space (which is a converted party/ballroom).  Among the tasks is to explore laying down a durable dark paint surface over the existing stained concrete slab floor.
