[SML] [EXTERNAL] Re: Workarounds

We’re prepping the argument to keep student employees on (with proper distancing) to keep building the now cancelled musical in the hopes of moving it to next season.
I’m full time faculty, so I’m still teaching classes on line once we “return” from spring break, but since I’m the prop master and scenic artist for all the shows too, I’m nearly giddy about having some time to work in the warehouse and organize the paint room.  Plus, kill two birds with one stone with all the buckets I need to wash!  Without production meetings and faculty meetings I can get a ton of work done!

Brian, a TD in Ohio gathered a list of folks willing to Skype in for classes that reads like a who's who of our industry - many are on SML.

So keep your ship ship-shape, wash your hands a lot and make art in private for a while. I expect to see some great things once we get through this all.

That is the boat I am sure many of us are in.

Although, the final show of the schoolyear has been cancelled here.  I am experiencing a bit of an existential crisis: I am paid to build and hang for the theatre program but if there is no show why am I here?
