I have a Rostock MAX v2 printer I built; it's a huge (4' tall) delta
FDM printer but because of the size of the beast (and if I'm honest, a
rather wimpy PSU) it has trouble getting the bed up over 240. I had
to wrap a sheet of clear vinyl around it to capture enough heat to
print ABS; there's no way I could do polycarbonate or anything fun
like that.
