right - you pointed up my confusion - z800 or z800hd. The z800 has been
in the line much longer than the z800hd iirc, and I have used the me1000
for the bridging instead of z800 which doesn't bridge. My point was simply
that if bridging, it seems the fewer z800hd supports partially offset the 5
individual legs per deck of the current Wenger system. And the few times
I had to do it, getting that middle leg level with other 4 always seemed
challenging. Plus the last Wenger installs I've seen all have leg to leg
clamps, requiring tools, and that seems like a pita.
I get the z frame being longer than the deck and heavy does
have disadvantages.
Glad we have good choices. Doesn't seem to be the case with stage lighting.
