Dear Bill,
I have practiced law in California for almost 40 years but have learned to
'stay in my lane' regarding the law applicable to other states. HOWEVER, I
freely offer a universal closing clause for rental agreements that you may
use. "Notwithstanding any Act of God, war, government entity, health
agency, or any other circumstance now known or to be discovered or
developed, that limits or restricts the use of the demised premises, the
obligations of the Lessee to fulfill their financial and other duties
under this contract shall remain in full force and effect" [The risk of a
'Force Majure' event is entirely on the Lessee].{There is no
Attorney/Client relationship created herein}
