[SML] RE. Production calendar question

I use outlook calendar to share with other departments on campus and use Calendar Creator for just the Performing Atrs Center Staff to view. We do not like other areas to see our master booking calendar because they see open days and think they should be allowed to add in their event. You can still get Calendar Creator on Broderbund/Encore.

lacks the connectivity of the online options but is still a solid
application. I found the windows version less usable.

The amount of detail needed in a production calendar varies. Days or
half days is as fine as I find a need for. There are too many
uncontrolled variables to get buried under.

I use Pimlical (http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/) for my personal
calendar but I do not see it as production calendar. It does have lots
of features but is for the power user folks.

You could go all out and run MS Project or one of the clones, but most
folks do not need the dynamic adjustment that a true Gantt chart does.
After spending a digging into it I find it is more than most need and
requires significant ongoing maintenance to benefit from it's features.
