Yup- I'd also look at the Allen and Heath SQ range- I have installed them in a number of high schools, and teachers are generally v happy with how easy they are for them and their students to use. Being able to connect Qlab over USB is a great feature!
That said, channel count can be an issue for the SQ consoles, so I have also installed Yamaha QLs into larger High Schools that needed a higher channel count due to the size of their shows / bands. Properly set up they are very easy for students to mix on, but they are certainly not as "plug and play" as the SQ consoles.
With either option, you will need network cabling to hook everything up. Make sure to factor that into your spec if you space does not have any network cable runs already.
HTH!

+1 for Allen and Heath.
I know several HS that got the SQ line of theirs and love them. Have a pro come tune the room and set up the board, save that patch and build your shows off of it. Great support, online training and small footprint. Price is right for HS, too.
