When faced with this situation, if I can’t find a profile I set the fixture to DMX address 1 and patch the console so it runs each channel individually and play until I can find what each channel does and then find a generic 6 channel fixture that matches. My first guess would be (If a color mixing fixture) a channel for red, green, blue, and white emitters, a twinkle wheel, and a master fader. If that is the case, the fixture will need the master fader channel up in order for any of the color channels to operate. This is how I would go about troubleshooting a solution. Best of luck and let us know what you find out.

I know it is a relatively inexpensive model purchased from an outfit in China but there is nothing on the curtains or DMX boxes indicating the name of the company and there is no manual. My predicament is I can't figure out how to patch it. I'm on an ETC Ion desk and know that each curtain requires 6 DMX channels. (My predecessor wrote it on the DMX boxes.) I dug through the Generic fixture profiles but didn't find any likely candidates. I tried to create a new fixture prolife but don't know which parameters go with which channels. When plugged in, the LEDs light up. I just can't control them. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
