[SML] [EXTERNAL] Really bright red LED light source

Do you need a "shaft" of light or just a red glow? And is it
competing with other stage lighting or mostly by itself?
For fun I looked, and there are several (many?) Red LED Light Therapy
Panels on Amazon, sort of a foot square and 1 1/2 inches deep, and one
under $35, prime delivery in 2 days. Who knew.
