Since I build stand-alone live theatres, this answer is not totally
appropriate to High Schools, but: The highest priority that I am given, as
a designer/builder are the looks of the exterior and the interior ‘look’
the lobby that has a donor’s name on it. The ‘Look’ rather than the
comfort of seats is also important to Donors. They have never heard of
‘Dimmer per circuit’, and could not make that a priority, as the price of
Copper and labor is rising faster than that of Dimmers.
