Go for two per side if you can, they’re invaluable with a deep thrust. 
The Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland is a gorgeous auditorium with two box boom positions on each side hat are about 30’ tall. 
By contrast the Keller Auditorium had none until the national tour of Phantom of the Opera needed some and paid to have them installed.
