[SML] Torqueing truss

Fwiw I read this as tongueing truss, so I tuned in.  Now I’m disappointed.

No.

Depends on how frequently you intend to replace all the truss bolts.
Using a zip gun on Grade 8 hardware is a one-shot deal; using a zip
gun on Grade 8 hardware over-and-over-again is not a Very Good Thing.
A lot of people tend to think "if two seconds of ugga-duggas on this
bolt is good, then five seconds of ugga-duggas on this bolt has to be
better!" Those people are wrong; too many ugga-duggas and you've
exceeded the plasticity and yield strength of the bolt, with
potentially cataclysmic results. Or at the very least, you've deformed
the threads, and now you *have* to force the nut down snug with an
impact gun because you can no longer hand-thread the nut all the way
down snug. At that point, that bolt should be "removed from service"
(a polite way of saying "destroyed so no one ever tries using it
again.")

Plus a manual torque wrench (usually) won't hurt your ears.
