[SML] [EXTERNAL] floors again

MDF or Plyron as a top layer over plywood. Hardwood can look nice, and I know they are thinking the veneer will “look” pretty for the money trying to impress the higherups at the school buying in.
But, you need the durability and will probably be needing to paint over things as they get scratched when things move or paint that gets spilled while doing sets.
So, a hardwood veneer will be wasted.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [SML] floors again

Please use caution: This email was sent from outside of HCC.

Contractor is offering $8000 (in an $80+m new hs) to use hardwood veneered plywood in place of specified plyron. I'm outspokenly opposed, because of splinters.

Do you agree with me or would you be ok with painted hardwood stage floor.

Thanks.
