[SML] ETC Nomad/Mac problems

Having been a Mac-head since literally before the beginning of Macs -
my first computer* was a Lisa XL - I can safely assume that the new
Mac OS has probably broken the dongle app, at least partially. It's
not the first time an OS update, even a Mac OS update, has done so,
and part of the reason I'm still limping along in Catalina.
