[SML] totally off topic: installing a second monitor in the Kitchen

I spend most of my workday looking for simple solutions to replace complicated solutions.

Forgive my asking the potentially stupid question: Why not just put a TV in the kitchen with its own connection?

The cost of a monitor is about the same as buying a TV. You can watch the same thing in both places or different things. Also as most TVs these days are "smart" you would have the added benefit of being able to screen share to it also. My old-ass eyes would love to put a recipe on a big screen while I make it.

OR

If you already have the monitor, why not buy a TV tuner for it?

Just a thought.
