[SML] Vectorworks for guest designers in schools

Good note on the laptop.  I might be able to look into that.

Part 2 is much more complicated.  The biggest part is that this director, in particular, is difficult to wrangle and is always behind on reaching out to designers, so designers who are available on short notice are limited.  I have made recommendations and timelines and have a list of designers in the area, the kitten refuses to be herded (slow year over year progress, though).

But our student population for shows is majority non-majors who say they are not interested in going into theater as a career. I think there is value in having designers who are not neck-deep, to show that there can be theater after college even if you don’t want to do it as a career.  I also think that it is worthwhile to have folks who have pivoted away from theater who can talk about why they made that choice.
