Nashville: Take a tour of the Gibson Guitar Factory. BBQ at Martin's
in town or Willie's in Inglewood (northeast-ish), which arguably has
the best brisket in NashVegas.
(And, being DV, I know of what I speak when it comes to 'Q...)

Memphis: Don't miss the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, formerly
the Stax recording studios.  DO NOT repeat DO NOT eat at the
Rendezvous! It's mediocre barbacue for rich white tourists who don't
know better. The discerning 'Q-hound hits up Central BBQ, Corky's, or
Cozy Corner.  I also endorse visiting the Orpheum, and BB King's on
Beale Street.

Tampa: I'll leave that city to June Abernathy, but there's good chow
(specifically Cuban) not far from the Straz Center (which is a neat
place to visit, too), and if a *good* steak dinner's the thing, you
owe it to yourself to spend some money at Bern's.
