I think the 2nd or 3rd project where the architect and interior designer
says the main curtain shall be black. I find it a terrible idea, and dare
say most of my colleagues in theatre consulting would agree.

I always get a kick out of the rigging contractor supplying the curtains not
believing it and sending messages to the GC or CM,and anyone he knows on the
project asking "are you sure?".

I think the architect and designers that do this must just hate the
theatre,or have never gone.

Rant over.  One more project after this one and I'm done. I can sit on the
sidelines and kvetch.
