[SML] what movers are in your house?

Hi again

As I said, I'm demo-ing some movers.

I'm wondering what people have installed in their venues and what they like / don't like about them.
(how did you choose your units?)

What do you have, and how many?
What's their purpose or location in your venue?
Were they a successful investment?
Would you buy them again?
What do you like about them?
What DON'T you like about them?
If you were given approval to buy something now, what would you buy this time? Why?
Which units are maintenance-heavy or maintenance-costly, vs. long life?

(I find it's soooo confusing. There are soooo many companies and movers, and then movers within a production family)

Chauvet, Robe, Martin . . . . . .

Looking for movers to eventually install in the catwalks in my 1200 seat concert hall

Fan noise is a LARGE concern
I want some with shutters, some without, and of course theatre dimming, good colour rendition, etc.
Beyond that, the gobos/animation/prisms/iris/focus/zoom are all just toys, and every unit has them
Built-in wireless DMX is looking useful
Need power capped at 1000w, so I can get at least 2 per circuit (120v only)

I'll probably request some smaller units as floaters, tossed out onstage for the haze/aerial effects, but with small fans / less power needs.

Thoughts?

Thanks everyone.
