I’m guessing that’s The New Victory theater,  on 42nd st?  I’m coming in from out of town and hoping to make it. I used to work with Steve back in the 80’s with his outfit Stage Right. And we’d find ourselves on random gigs ever since.

Steve is the one who told me to "do the math" before moving to NYC when Brian and I were offered work  in that area 20 years ago. One of the best pieces of advice I've even been given.

And he brought me onto War Horse to play with Dave and some other good folks, too.

Obviously I can't make it, but please convey my respect, if you would.
Steve hired me on for the WarHorse tour, for which I will be grateful
until the Sun goes supernova. (and maybe a day or two beyond that.)
Once I park my bus for the night next Monday, I'll hoist one (or two,
or...) to his memory.
