I'm on one other list with a problem like that. Only, REPLY goes to
the original sender only. When you realize your message never made
it to the list, you go back and hit REPLY-ALL and now it sends to
the list and everyone who ever commented on it using REPLY-ALL.

With SML I now have the choice of REPLY-LIST which is really nice.
The other list doesn't offer that.

I had found with that list it was easiest to hit REPLY and then
replace the TO name with the list name, but now Thunderbird has to
lock up while it goes off to search for every address with an "s" in
it someplace (there's a lot), then it returns with the wrong
suggestion until I wind up typing in the entire address by hand.

Maybe I'll go back to REPLY-ALL and just delete the other names.
a nice step forward it has some glitches. When I hit "Reply" it
goes to not only SML but also the sender- as if I hit "Reply
all". I notice at least 3 copies of the "For list information..."
at the bottom. Like any new thing these hopefully will be sorted
out in the next few days.
