We did a large amount of hard covered "flats" with pages from old books. Pages glued on in a random fashion.We used premixed vinyl wallpaper paste. Then sprayed with "clear coat" with lots of "fireproofing" to keep the right people happy. Lots of students
made the work go fast….the shop had been dreading it but the students worked in small groups, put on some "music" and had a "quilting bee" type papering

In the face of this lightning-fast, last minute, design I’m executing in Houston next week, I am contemplating a scenic treatment for many boxes and platforms that essentially uses newspaper as wallpaper. Has anyone done something like this before? Any warnings

I have done some test pieces with Spray 77, Newspaper, and Acrylic Clear-Coat. I think this will work well but have not tried it on a large scale.<o:p></o:p></div>
