Hi Gang,

Wondering if anyone out there has thoughts on how to handle a (somewhat) new situation... With the proliferation of LED fixtures and the continued proliferation of fixtures that have multiple non-intensity parameters, I'm finding that getting equipment profiles pre-set on the lighting equipment prior to, or during hang is getting tougher. Things get set wrong, or not at all, and it seems to come from the fact that all the necessary information is tracked across a few different documents... So, wondering how others out there handle the situation. Of course it's tracked through the instrument schedule what settings should be on each fixture, but I'm debating adding a text box on plots to indicate what profiles the different fixture types should be set to in their internal settings to help out the LX crews I typically deal with.

Any thoughts on whether this is a good or bad idea? How have others handled it?

Thanks,

Chad
