<font face="Arial">I don't know about AutoCAD (stopped using that
when the DOS version went away) but in TurboCAD I can select any
thing or group of things in one file and using control-C/control-V
paste it/them into another drawing. <br>

inserted into another drawing as a block. Any drawing is
automatically available to be a block. Save it with a name, a
location, etc. and you've got your library.<br>
