<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I spoke with my local lumber purchasing agent on Friday and
learned a lot.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>I also did intense
research over the weekend and contacted many of my theatre colleagues.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>Here’s what I learned:</p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Masonite International stopped making their Duron product in
2006.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span><span style="mso-no-proof:yes">Masonite
was</span> the product of choice for stage floors. Since then many manufacturers
have tried to duplicate the product without success <span style="mso-no-proof:
yes">except</span> one company <span style="mso-no-proof:yes">called</span> <span style="mso-no-proof:yes">Decorative</span> Panels International.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> <br></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Linseed oil or Flaxseed oil produced by Cargill is now being
used in the tempering process due to FDA regulations and emissions. <span style="mso-no-proof:yes">Because of this processing,</span> an extra step is
required in the installation process.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> Sanding!</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-spacerun:yes"><br></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I contacted Decorative Panels International and had a very
informative conversation with Tim Boerst, the director of International and
Industrial Markets.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Tim was able to
explain the process of their product and how <span style="mso-no-proof:yes">it’s
used</span> for stage floors. In fact he stated he gets at least one phone call
a week from contractors inquiring about stage floors products and installation.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span><span style="mso-spacerun:yes"></span>Tim
mentioned theatre consultants that <span style="mso-no-proof:yes">specialise</span>
in refurbishing theatre’s <span style="mso-no-proof:yes">specifically</span> specify
the TP220 ¼” Double Sided Hardboard for stage <span style="mso-no-proof:yes">floors</span>. <br></p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I have included a link to Tim’s PDF’s Tim shared with me regarding stage

<p class="MsoNormal">I am very confident this is the direction I'm moving
