<b>Subject:</b> [SML] black masking shrunk during cleaning. . . .<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">I knew they would, and I knew it would be unpredictable, but I didn’t expect the amount, or difference in amount of shrinkage. . .<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">OK, so 18 yr old velour blacks. First treating and cleaning since fabrication.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">The 26’ tall traveller panels lost 9” (26’3 now 25’6)<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">But 3 of the 4 panels shrunk the same amount, and can work. However, the 4th is an inch shorter than the others. That’s not bad. We can live with that.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">However, across the 11 legs (original height 23’0”), the finished lengths are 8” apart. Most are clustered at 22’5 or 22’6. But we have one at 22’8, one at 22’7 (that’s a close pair), and 3 at 22’3, 22’2, and 22’0.
So the legs lost anywhere from 4” to 12”, an 8” difference between the legs.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">And 1 leg looked really funny when rigged. We thought that maybe 1 edge was longer than the other. Nope, the middle of the drape was shorter than the edges. Don’t know if that was original or not, but we certainly
noticed it now.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
