<div>Bosch, Makita, and Milwaukee all make good jigsaws.  We have various models from those makers and are satisfied with all of them.  Cutawls are still worthwhile tools for what you are doing, and they are available used at somewhat reasonable prices on Ebay.

  What I have not been able to find lately is a source for cutawl blades at reasonable prices</div>
