That computer later made the Mercury News front page when at a
SciFi convention we had it set up in a hallway calling out to
people to come sign up to the L5 mailing list. It was something
like the first talking computer the public had seen.<br>

I'd also hacked the system so it could have moving graphics on the
screen at the same time as scrolling text and a text entry box for
the people to fill in their contact info. Got a LOT of names out
of that convention.<br>
<br>
A friend later borrowed that computer and when he was done tossed
it in the trash! !!!! I don't loan stuff anymore without a cash
down payment.<br>

Apple Writer was how I got interested in computers. Great word
processor. I assume you also added the lower-case modification?<br>
