<div dir="ltr">re floor spike tape (not rigging lines, not dance floor installation):<div><br></div><div>I have wood floor with many layers of paint (no masonite)<div> (about due to grind it down & start over again)</div><div><br></div><div>To get tape (either vinyl electrical or cloth Spike tape) to stick,</div><div><br></div><div>I first *clean* where the tape is going</div><div>(good scrub with a rag eg terrycloth, maybe moistened with IPA aka rubbing alcohol)</div><div>then apply the tape and *rub it in* with something like the back of spoon,</div><div>or (more usually) the handle of my pocket knife.
