Hi All,

I've been tasked with designing a unit set for a play workshop series we do at my College. Part of the set requires some 12" tall risers. It has been made clear to me that the risers need to be as silent as possible. So, I look to the collective wisdom here for your tried-and-true methods...

What I'm currently thinking is lidding these risers with the standards maso-tentest-plywood lid, and making the frame a solid box stuffed with batt insulation like Roxul or pink fiberglass. Thoughts?

Any tips or advice you can share would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Chad
