<html><div>Similar to what Greg said---if it is not a prominent set piece, you can make faux neon by using flexible plastic tubing (aquarium tubing, homebrew kegging tubing, science lab Tygon tubing, etc.) If you need to spell out words, construct a light box and use the tubing on the face piece (either attach half-round tubing <split with band saw and a jig> to the face, or carefully cut a slot in the facing material and insert tubing in that slot.
