Thanks. Knew exponential was wrong, but Richard had just given me one of<br>
his rare compliments in another thread so I stood down. And I'm not sure<br>
what a lineal scale would be anyways, maybe one that counts how far<br>
removed a cousin is?<br>

It's really difficult in a world that has forgotten turn signals and say<br>
"me and you" rather than "you and I" to get to upset at this minor<br>
language indignity. Having been a teenager in the 1960s when my parents<br>
were nearly in their 70s, I emphasize with their concerns.<br>
