<font face="Arial">I just replaced the trackball on our CAD system
with a new one, Sharon keeps wearing them out. The problem is
this one has a long delay recovering from sleep.<br>

Symptoms: Use track ball for a while and then pause for a short
while (10 seconds?). Go to move it again and nothing happens for
a couple of seconds.<br>

Trackball is Kensington Expert Mouse, K64325<br>
<br>
Web search shows people having the problem, haven't found any
answers.<br>
<br>
Called Kensington and they had me unplug it and plug it back in,
then suggested returning it to the store.<br>
