<p class="MsoNormal">We’re looking at (what appears to be) a tempered hardboard, hardened one side only.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Looks a lot like Masonite, with a fibrous felt-y look and feeling to the underside. It comes from Brazil, and Stratford uses it on their stages.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">My boss tried to gap a Plywood dance floor a few years ago (using finishing nails as the gap), but the manufacturing imperfections of the material made that impossible as the flooring when along. Gaps were not consistent.<o:p></o:p></p>
