I've seen ruggedized versions of cat five cables, even armored ones at a<br>
large price premium. My off the top of my head estimate is the most<br>
cost effective is to just buy a bulk order of cheap patch cables in<br>
various lengths and just replace the cables as they fail. Last time<br>
I bought a bunch of patch cables, shorties were about a buck each, 14<br>
footers were around five bucks, and 100 footers were around 20 each.<br>
Cheap enough to be expendable items.<br>
