<div>I commonly see slide projectors at the local Goodwill
Outlet store. These outlets have stuff that didn't sell at
the regular stores. The sad thing about the products is that
these are literally dumped into what looks like a garbage bin,
and so parts tend to get scattered, and anything delicate gets
broken. I always feel bad when I see things like this
destroyed or loose things like the case lid. I recently saw
an original View-master toy, which would have sold for around
25 cents. On E-bay it would likely have sold for aorund $16,
but in reality would not have been worth my time to buy it and
resell on E-bay. And it was unlikely to sell at the outlet,
unless someone recognized what it was. I had to decide that I
had enough "stuff" in my house, and needed to stop buying
these things.</div>

<div>And because the stuff here sells by weight, it is not
unusual to see old stuff that is just heavy, and therefore is
priced too high. Kitchen mixers are one such category.
Conversely, feather boas are quite cheap. I purchased an
entire bag of low-quality boas for around $1.</div>
