<div dir="ltr">I use the design drawing to create build drawings. I couldn't use the drawing he gave me for anything except what it looked like: not even for measurements. For instance the bottom z was inconsistent from symbol to symbol. In general I couldn't trust anything. Nope; I used to use it for 3D printing until I found out it was really<br>
good (at least on the Mac side) at adding unresolved polygons &<br>
orphaned vertices randomly into every object I tried drawing up &<br>
printing. This may or may not be a factor in your decision to go with<br>
Sketchup, if you're only using it for 2D/lighting work.<br>
