I know there are commercial project planning programs that permit you to search the schedule for when certain people on a team are all available for a meeting. But, I am seeking a solution for a community theater that has a variety of members with varying levels of computer proficiency, and who use different software.

I am guessing that such an app might have a web page that permits various users to register, and then mark out the times that they are not available. Though, this really only needs to be done for the scheduled rehearsal dates. I guess another potential enhancement/complexity, is if it were to permit to mark days as "absolutely not available" or alternatively "would prefer to be unavailable"

Can anyone recommend a good solution.
