<p class="MsoNormal">I know the throw to the back of the upper balcony is about 120’. The FOH Cove is forward of that but higher, so probably in the 90’ range. If the units overlapped any more the edge of the field would cross the centre of another.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Perhaps I made a bad choice with hotspot, and instead should of used centre. There are some hotspots, mainly from filament droop, but the fields aren’t bad. I may just go through and put new bulbs in those 6 to see what happens.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">My cove is 25’ wide, and only has 12 dimmers. 2 railings: bottom row 6 lights for apron. Top row 8 lamps (6 cct) for specials. It’s possible to fit 1 more lamp on each end of the bottom railing (focus is rough), but I could just re-focus
a special into the mix. I’d love to have a lamp on centre for the apron wash, rather than splitting center with channels 3 & 4.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">You don’t say what the throw distance is for your FOH cove. In a large concert hall, I feel like 6 - 10 degrees isn’t enough for a 60’ apron. In my medium-sized theater I have that many washing the front of my 36’ stage. Can you try
an experiment with adding in more 10 degrees to see if you can even out some of your blips? <o:p></o:p></p>
