<p>Dimmer Doubling was my first guess as well.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You could look through your lamp stock. The HPLs for doubling are 77v instead of 115 or 120. If I remember right, you also had to use a special Y cable that took the single dimmer circuit and split it into 2 separate circuits. </span></p>
