(Might be no lubrication) Carefully examine the track for dents, dings, straightness both horizontally and vertically. Look inside the track before cleaning for signs of scrapes or chafing. It's possible the drape is too heavy for the track and it is pulling it out of line between the hangers. Adding more hangers cures that.
