Should not different than hardboard on ply you have now.</p>
<p dir="ltr">I did soecify a particular particle board like product on, iirc, 2 stages. It was a product designed for covering industrial timber floors, in particular fabric mills. Very high resistance to steel wheeled casters. Came predrilled and countersunk. It broke screws but both places quickly learned to get better screws, not big box drywall screws, thankfully. Held paint great.</p>
<p dir="ltr">I'll just add that of the high school stages I've specified plyron for over 20 years, I don't believe any of them have had to replace or recover their floor. I don't believe hardwood veneered ply will last that long.</p>
