Speaking of her Great Lakes Journalism, does anyone have the full
text of Pat's Alt.Callahans post about the Fitz? I can only find
a truncated version. It was one of the most touching things I
ever read about that subject.

Pat's one of the good ones - I never had the good fortune to get
out to the west coast to meet her, but she always looked out for
the people on this list and always offered an open door. The
stories she shared with us of her journalism career by the Great
Lakes, getting in on the first voyage of Talk Like a Pirate day,
and the theater work she did in Albany OR with Don Taco - who I
hope is still on this list - were markers of a life well-lived.
