Her sister Toni had about 8 of us old-timers over to her place, where we packed up scripts and mementos to send to the theater she spent four decades working at, tossed a few personal items into our cars, wore various, mostly purple, scarves and robes, ate as much as we could out of the freezer, hoisted a few glasses of memory tonic, and pawed through a lifetime of photographs, marveling and laughing at our younger selves and our colleagues. Each of us took five or six photos of her with us and we're going to mail them to her, one every month or two, sort of randomly. Pieces of her past.
