[SML] Teletype Machine

Teletypes are looking for 7-bit serial ASCII down a telephone line. They
need fanfold paper.

You might get by with a fax modem, but my memory is that they ran quite
slowly. The telephone bandwidth they are used to is 3.5 KHz.
