More likely your vent hose needs a good cleaning. 

Clean the lint filter, then vacuum the vent pathway and clean where it exits to the outdoors. Can buy a small brush on a long handle that will go through the hose. Saves about 20% of drying time in my experience, plus it reduces a fire hazard. Save the lint for starting fires.
