[SML] proper batten clamping device for pipe-downs

Based on the description, those appear to be designed for a horizontal grid.

I would assume the 1800 lbs load rating is when used to clamp two horizontal
pipes together.

But is it safe to assume that same load rating when the clamp is used in a
vertical orientation?

I would suggest using Grid Lok pipe clamps. You can get them from Sapsis or
BMI. No nonsense and they work every time.
